Rheumathoid and infectious-allergic arthritis, arthrosis

Therapeutic effects are based on antiinflammatory, edema reducing and analgeting action, improvement of local hemodynamics.
Supravenous blood radiation with infrared laser and red light.
For the upper limbs radiation is performed in cubital or axillary fossae (points: 20,18).
For the lower limbs radiate zones of femoral veins and popliteal fossae (points: 30, 9).

Epicutaneous radiation of joints.
Laser - magnetic therapy.
Anterior, posterior and both lateral surfaces of greater joints are radiated. Small joints (fingers and toes) are radiated on anterior and posterior surfaces.

In cases of rheumatoid, infectious-allergic, psoriatic, rheumatic polyarthritis combination of contactous (epicutaneous) and supravenous radiation is necessary.
In the mentioned cases it is possible to act on points on greater joints (points: 4-6, 9-16, 18, 20-21, 30-33).

Monoarthritis of degenerative-dystrophic type, deforming arthrosis

The treatment of arthritis of nonallergic and nonrheumatic origin is performed epicutaneous on thefields at the region of the affected joint, on the projections of joint cavity.

Shoulder joint:

Laser- magnetic acting is performed on three fields:
a) Anterior surface of joint, below greater tubercle of the humerus (point 19).
b) Superio-lateral surface of joint, between acromial process of shoulder blade and greater tubercle of the humerus (point 12).
c) Posterior surface of joint, below acromial process of shoulder blade (points 1, 2, 3).

Elbow joint:

Laser magnetic acting is performed on three fields:
a) Outer surface of joint near the tip of the elbow (point 14).
b) Internal surface of joint near the tip of the elbow (point 15).
c) The middle of the bend of the elbow (point 27).

Wrist joint:

Two fields are radiated:
a) Dorsal surface of joint, closer to ulnar side (point 7).
b) Palmar surface of joint, in the middle of the wrist fold
(point 28).

Metacarpophalangeal joints:

Acting is performed on two fields:
a) Dorsal surface of wrist on the projections of joint cavity
(point 17).
b) Palmar surface of wrist on the projections of joint cavity (point 22).

Interphalangeal joints:

For relief of painful syndrome and edema acting is performed on two fields:
a) Dorsal surface of wrist on the projections corresponding joint cavity (point 8).
b) Palmar surface of wrist on the projections corresponding joint cavity (point 29).

Hip joint:

It is necessary to perform acting on four fields:
a) Above the greater trochanter of the femur (point 23).
b) Behind of the greater trochanter of the femur (points 5,6,7,).
c) Below for 1cm from the greater trochanter of the femur
(point 24).
d) Middle of the groin fold (point 30).

Knee joint:

It is necessary to perform acting on three fields:
a) On the lateral outer surface, on the projection of joint cavity (point 31).
b) On the lateral internal surface on the projection of joint cavity (point 32).
c) On the center of the popliteal fossa (point 9).

Ankle joint:

Ankle joint is often subjected to degenerative-dystrophic diseases and inflammatory alterations . The basic group of people with this pathology consists of women, who prefer high-heeled shoes and athletes (especially gymnasts). It should be noted to perform acting in these groups as preventive measure.
In all cases joint radiation is performed on the projection of joint cavity on three fields:
a) Dorsal flexion of the foot (point 33).
b) Region between external malleolus and Achilles tendon
(point 10).
c) Region between internal malleolus and Achilles tendon
(point 11).

Chopart`s joint :

Fields of radiation:
a) Lateral external surface of joint cavity projection (point 25).
b) Lateral internal surface of joint cavity projection (point 26).
c) Plantar surface of joint cavity projection (point 37).

Lisfrank`s joint (tarsometatarsal):

a) In two fields on dorsal surface on joints cavities projections (region 38).
b) In two fields on plantar surface (point 40).

Metatarsophalangeal joints :

a) Dorsal surface of joint cavity projection (region 39).
b) Plantar surface of joint cavity projection (point 35).

Interphalangeal joints

a) Dorsal surface on joint cavity projection, i. e. toes` region (points 40).
b) Plantar surface of joint projection (point 34).
